In the morning of November 12th, some leaders of Xianxing district came to visit the North Campus, including Li Zhaoxi, the Director of the Emergency Management Office, Lin Shuai,the cheif of Fire Brigade, Deputy Director Liang Leshun of Cuizhai Street, and other four people. This visit is for safety inspection. Zhang Zongsheng, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president of our school, Che Haihong, deputy director of the Student Affairs Office, Yang Guang, deputy director of the Logistics Office, and Ren Wenyou and Ma Zongyi of the Safety Management Office accompanied the inspection.
 
    The team conducted safety inspections on crowded places such as student apartments and student dining halls of north campus. During the inspection of student apartments, Director Li Zhaoxi affirmed the measures taken by school to use electrical appliances to "automatically cut off the power when the power is exceeded”. He also mentioned that school's safety requires standardizing the wiring settings, strengthening education on electricity safety for students, and improving fire safety awareness. During the inspection of the student restaurant, Captain Lin Shuai said that the restaurant staff need to clean up the smoke exhaust system in time, and school needs to  install fire doors to eliminate potential safety hazards. Vice-President Zhang Zongsheng thanked the inspection team for this visit and promised to implement it as required to ensure the safety of the campus.
