Excellent Exchange Program
Recently, government issued the "2019 Provincial Outstanding Exchange Program to Taiwan", which integrates the theme, content, and scale of each project activity. According to the standards of large impact, good effect, and distinctive characteristics, government determined the province’s excellent exchange program with Taiwan in 2019. The Cross-Straits University Student Creative Design Contest—Building Information Modeling (BIM) Contest hosted by our school is on the list. It is the third consecutive year that our school has won this award.
The contest was hosted by our school’s International Office and undertaken by the School of Architectural Engineering. There were 19 teams from 14 colleges and universities on both sides of the strait gathered at our school. gathered at our school. An intense and exciting competition shows the friendship of students from colleges and universities across the Taiwan Straits.
BIM is a new technology supported and promoted during the 13th Five-Year Plan. It is also the main task of the development and reform of my country's construction information modernization. Through this BIM competition, a platform for BIM exchanges between universities across the Taiwan Straits has been established, which can help the reform of the architectural professional teaching model. This competition is also good for improving the professional practice teaching level. Through the holding of this event, the exchanges between young people on both sides of the strait have been enhanced.
This time, our school is awarded the Shandong Province Excellent Taiwan Exchange Program, which is highly recognized by the government. It is a good opportunity for our school to learn and improve our particle teaching skill. And Yingcai will also use this opportunity to make contributions to cross-strait exchanges.
