Volunteer During the Coronavirus outbreak


22 years old Xinye Li has worked at train station since the virus outbreak as a volunteer. As a senior students of Shandong Yingcai Uinversity, it has been six years since he became a volunteer, and he has served for 1050 hours in the past six years. 
But this year is different, Li worked at train station at least 12 hours everyday since the outbreak. The reporter followed Li to experience volunteer service at the railway station. Guiding passengers to cooperate with the inspection and assisting in the investigation of abnormal situations. It seemed simple, but it also need a lot patience and perseverance. And in Li's words, helping others can make you happy.
 
The railway station is a place with large amount population in and out daily, sometime time the job can be very challenging,especially during the strict epidemic control period. Sometimes people get upset when they are advised to return at arrival, it is really understandable when you travel for so long to come the this city. Li and other volunteers would be will be patient in persuading them that the companies has not resumed work and the hotel is not open. Going home is the safest choice. Fortunately, people gradually understood it later. 
 
Li’s family has been very supportive too. Even though his mother is really worried about her son’s safety, she still gets up early to cook the breakfast for him everyday. Li is appreciate his parents’ understanding and support. Under his influence, his father also join the volunteer service team, now he is responsible for the duty at the card point in the community. He works during the day and volunteer at night.
 
Actually, except for class time, Li is doing voluntary service in almost all his free time. And he said he will stay here until the epidemic is over.
