Director and deputy director of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office Xue Xinghai and Zhang Luming attended this opening ceremony with many school leaders from Yingcai University and other universities as well as sponsored companies. Xue Xinghai, Director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and Xia Jiting, President of Shandong Yingcai University both made a speech on the ceremony. This competition has been organized for a long time and all teams are well trained and coached. After a fair review, the contest eventually produced major awards. Chaoyang University of Science and Technology won the special prize in the modeling competition. Yingcai University won the special prize in the challenge match.
This contest helped to set up a platform for BIM exchanges between universities on both sides, and promoted the reform of the teaching mode of architecture-related majors in related institutions. The competition is a successful exchange between the two sides of the strait. The interactions between students have enhanced exchanges between young people.
In order to strengthen the cultural exchanges and help them to know more about Jinan, after the end of the competition, Yingcai University organized a one day tour for them. They visited the famous tourist spots of Jinan, such as Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. We believe that the youth on both sides of the strait will work together to create a better future for cross-strait relations.
