Students go to the Philippines for a short-term visit
On 4th November, the School of Foreign Languages held a farewell party for students who are going to Philippine for a short-term visit. School attaches great importance to this program, and this trip is not going to be successful without the care of the school leaders and the assistance of various departments. Many school leaders attended this farewell party.
At the beginning of the party, dean of the school of Foreign Languages, Zhang Yanfang delivered a speech. She expressed her gratitude to the school for the support, and hoped that the students will cherish this opportunity to study abroad. She said that students should quickly integrate into the local language and culture environment after going out. Not only should they earn the knowledge in the classroom, but also outside the classroom. Next, representatives of the students who are going to visit the Philippines made a speech. They said they will cherish this opportunity and live up to the expectations of the school, teachers and parents.
Professor Zhang Xinghu, the vice president of Shandong Yingcai College, gave students some advice. He said that students should cherish this opportunity and take the responsibility. And students should respect the local culture and face all difficulties, believe in themselves and take care of themselves.
Principal Assistant and Director of the International Office Li Jianfeng, delivered a speech. He pointed out that the school leaders, especially president Xia paid a lot attention to this program.
